Managing advertiser block requests
The block requests feature lets you prevent specific advertisers from appearing on your domains. You submit the request through the dashboard and track its progress.
How blocks work
When you block an advertiser domain, the block applies instantly across all exchanges and affects both private marketplace (PMP) deals and open auction demand. Any campaign request matching the blocked domain is automatically rejected.
Submitting a block request
- Go to the Block Ads section in the dashboard
- Create a new block request and enter the advertiser domain you want to block
- Add a reason or note to document why you are blocking this advertiser
- Submit the request — it will appear in your list with a status of Pending until it is reviewed
Tracking request status
Each block request shows one of three statuses:
- Pending — the request is under review
- Approved — the block is active
- Resolved — the request has been closed
The Block ad requests widget on the Overview page shows a summary of your active and past requests.
Practical tips
- If a block has not applied within two hours of approval, that is a valid reason to open a support case.
- Add a clear note when submitting a request — it helps the review process and gives you a record of why the block was put in place.
